On 25 Janary 2010, NROS has launched a Call for non-profit organizations that are interested in participation in the project aimed at building partnership with Norwegian organizations. Those wishing to participate in a seminar in Norway may apply through the forms that are available at the website www.ppnet.org/en.
International cooperation in the non-profit sector is important primarily in order to foster long-term social and economic progress. New things are learned through the sharing of resources, ideas, expertise, and experience. By supporting partner projects, a whole number of new locales and options for a bilateral dialogue and cooperation are created.
The overall objective of the project is to deepen partnership by supporting cooperation between Czech and Norwegian NGOs. Support and development of partnerships contributes to the exchange of best practices, allows for the development of tools for long-term sustainable bilateral cooperation, and offers an insight into Czech and Norwegian experience from the non-profit sector.
NROS, in cooperation with the Norwegian Helsinki Committee will act as the contact place for Czech and Norwegian non-profit organisations looking for partners for joint projects. In that sense, both organisations will take part in the project “Road to Cooperation – Development of a Czech-Norwegian Partnership”. Purpose of the project is ensuring provision of better support for the partnership of Czech and Norwegian NGOs through creation of databases of Czech and Norwegian organisations which will simplify the initiation of possible cooperation and make for more efficient and simpler communication with potential partners.
