On 29 June, Norwegian ambassador Jens Eikaas opened the new study depository of collections of the Plzen region, which is situated in the Plasy Monastery. The project, which includes also establishment of the study depository in Kynzvart Castle in Karlovarsky region, has been implemented by the National Heritage Institute and supported with an EEA Grant.

On 19 May 2010, three projects supported through the EEA Financial Mechanisms (the EEA and Norway Grants) 2004-2009 were visited by representatives of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Norwegian Embassy in Prague and the Czech Ministry of Finance. The project visits took place in conjunction with the 5th Annual Meeting on implementation of the EEA/Norway Financial Mechanisms in the Czech Republic, which was held on 20 May in Prague.

On 21 April 2010 a ceremony was held to mark the completion of the project “Repair and Renovation of the Transept and Presbytery of the Basilica of Assumption of Mary and St. Cyrillus and Methodius in Velehrad”. The 850 years old church is a part of a large baroque monastery that is one of the most significant places of pilgrimage in the Czech Republic.

The Regional Hospital in Usti nad Labem held on 25 August a press conference on the project " Neuro-intensive Care Centre for Children with Specific Problems." The project, which is implemented by the Children's Clinic of the Masaryk Hospital, was financed through the  Norwegian Financial Mechanism by the grant over € 400.000.

The project of the reconstruction of the Philosophical Hall in Strahov Library in Prague started on 13 July with a symbolical removal of a part of the wooden cassette floor. The renovation will last until December next year and will cost roughly 2 mil. Euro. 85% of the amount will be covered from the Norwegian Grant, the Prague City Hall will contribute with 15%.
