The International Summer School (ISS) is Accepting Applications for 2012

Poslední aktualizace: 28.11.2011 // The ISS offers 12 undergraduate courses mainly focusing on Norwegian language, culture and society, and 8 graduate-level courses centered on topics of broad international interest.

The International Summer School (ISS) at the University of Oslo is an academic center for learning in an international context, and a forum for fostering intercultural understanding. Every summer from late June to early August the ISS welcomes some 500 students from all over the world to its wide variety of graduate and undergraduate courses, mostly within the liberal arts and social sciences. In 2009, UiO awarded the ISS the prize for “Best Learning Environment”. In 2012 the courses will last from June 23 till August 3.

Interested candidates start the application process by completing the online Pre-Application form: www.summerschool.uio.no. Scholarship forms are available only through the Pre-Application form.

The application deadline for scholarship applicants is February 1, 2012 (applications must be postmarked by this date). Qualified self-paying/sponsored applicants may apply after February 1 and will be admitted as space permits.
