Poslední aktualizace: 21.02.2011 // Students from all the world are invited to participate in the Czech Music Camp for Youth, an international event with 15 years´ long tradition, which will take place in Horni Jeleni near Pardubice from July 21 to August 6, 2011.

Fine Arts Camps Europe (FACE) serve young musicians between the age of 8 - 19. They admit students of any race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, and do not discriminate in the administration of their programs. Students will be accepted on first come, first served basis.

The purpose of this educational project is to give our campers opportunity to play in large ensembles like symphony orchestra or symphonic band. Making music in a large group motivates students to develop their talent. Other music majors such as piano, harp, recorders, and guitar also focus on an ensemble performance. Besides music programs there is an English (through) Theatre program where students can study English and also learn more about drama.

In the past the camp hosted students from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, France, Great Britain, Denmark, Poland, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Greece, Spain, Cyprus, the Ukraine, the United States, Canada, Turkey, Georgia, Japan, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, South Korea and China. Since the campers come from different countries, the idea of international understanding through the universal language of music is highly promoted.

The deadline for applications is May 31, 2011.

More infromation as well as application forms can be found on www.chtm.cz.
